Finding a good photographer is vital if you want everyone to see the best of your cosplay in the best possible light. The right photo has been known to launch cosplayers into fame.. A photographer’s job is not an easy one, and it requires a lot of creativity and a lot of brainstorming. Cosplay photography is even more challenging because it requires a lot of research and knowledge on the subject at hand. Let’s take a look at the best of the best when it comes to cosplay.

Muze’s Photography

Muze is a cosplay photographer based in South California, United States. He describes himself as a creative soul who is going to adapt to any genre or subject and as someone who focuses on creating storytelling images with their proper atmosphere. His portfolio is definitely impressive so let’s take a look at some of his best photos.

Rinn as Shuten Douji (from Fate/Grand Order)

There is nothing sassier than a cosplaying girl like Rinn who definitely shows her cosplay talent. This is a sexy character from an online iOS and Android RPG called Fate/Grand Order. Her outfit definitely has that Japanese charm to it, and it’s safe to say that she has only improved upon the character.

Phil Mizuno as Diarmuid Ua Duibhne (from TYPE-MOON)

You have probably been able to conclude that our photographer Muze is a hardcore anime fan. This time, he brings us a photo of Diarmuid Ua Duibhne, a Lancer from TYPE-MOON. It’s refreshing to see a male cosplay every once in a while, and we must admit that this cosplay is absolutely brilliant. The hairstyle was quite difficult to achieve, but Phil Mizuno was able to pull it off, as well as his makeup.

Nitri as Lady Maria of the Astral Clock Tower (from Bloodbore: The Old Hunters DLC)

Lady Maria is one of the bosses in Bloodborne’s The Old Hunter DLC and her outfit is definitely a complicated one. However, if you try to compare the in-game outfit with the cosplay, you probably won’t notice any differences. Muze also found a fantastic and fitting background for this spectacular shot.

Mr. A as Edmond Dantes (from Fate/Grand Order)

If you have read the book The Count of Monte Cristo, you are probably familiar with the name Edmond Dantes. He is the main character from that book, and the books narrates his adventures (such as escaping from prison). However, this photo is about a character from the Fate/Grand Order game which is, in fact, the same character. However, even Muze admitted that the photo turned out darker than expected, and he asked to imagine if it was Edmond seeking revenge.
